Role Description The Manager GL Accounting will oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions for the organization. This full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India involves supervising month-end and year-end closing activities, reviewing journal entries, monitoring account balances, and preparing financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. The role includes coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies, supporting audits, implementing internal controls, and improving financial processes and systems.





The Manager GL Accounting will also assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting, while providing guidance and support to junior team members and promoting strong financial governance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust general ledger and financial accounting skills, including experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks, preferably within the healthcare or services sector.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in financial analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and preparation of management reports.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
- Candidates should ideally have a professional accounting qualification (such as CA, CPA, CMA) or a master’s degree in finance or accounting, with prior experience in a similar GL or finance manager role.
- Experience in healthcare finance, hospital accounting, or multi-location operations and familiarity with Indian taxation and compliance requirements would be beneficial.
