About the Role

Looking for an experienced Manager to join its Financial Services, Inclusive Finance & Development Advisory practice. The role involves leading consulting assignments focused on financial inclusion, MSME finance, access to credit, development finance, livelihood finance, financial sector advisory, and policy & strategy.

The candidate will work with government bodies, regulators, banks, financial institutions, multilateral agencies, donors, and development organizations on high-impact projects across India and emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end consulting engagements and multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct primary & secondary research, market assessments, financial sector diagnostics, stakeholder consultations, surveys and impact assessments.
- Develop M&E;/MEL frameworks, Theory of Change, logical frameworks, indicators and evaluation methodologies.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, strategy papers, policy documents, research reports, concept notes and presentations.
- Provide actionable recommendations on financial inclusion, MSME finance, access to credit, digital finance, agricultural finance, gender finance and livelihood development.




- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across government, financial institutions, donors and development agencies.
- Support business development, EOIs, proposals, client pitches and account growth.

Required Experience & Skills

- 8–12 years of experience in consulting, development finance, public policy, financial services advisory, economic development or financial inclusion.
- Strong experience in financial inclusion, MSME finance/access to credit and development advisory.
- Hands-on experience in research, data analysis, M&E;/MEL and impact assessment.
- Excellent report writing, analytical, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in project/team management.
- Exposure to donor-funded projects involving organizations such as World Bank, IFC, ADB, UNDP, UNCDF, FCDO, GIZ, USAID, ILO, FSD Africa or Gates Foundation will be preferred.
- Experience with consulting/advisory firms such as MSC, KPMG, EY, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, CRISIL, Dalberg, Intellecap, FSG, Sambodhi Research, Genesis Analytics, Dvara Research or similar organizations is desirable.
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Management, Development Studies, Rural Management, Banking & Financial Services, International Development or a related field.

Additional Requirements

- Must be based in Delhi NCR or willing to relocate.
- Willingness to undertake extensive domestic travel and occasional international travel.
- Strong interest in financial inclusion, economic development and policy advisory.
