Key Responsibilities

- Manage product and destination-country export compliance requirements.

- Verify export documentation and identify compliance gaps.

- Coordinate export documentation and shipment-readiness checks.

- Handle requirements related to DGFT, Customs/ICEGATE, APEDA, and other relevant authorities.

- Support HS/ITC-HS classification and destination-market compliance research.

- Manage international sea and air freight operations.

- Obtain and compare freight quotations and coordinate logistics RFQs.

- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, airlines, and other logistics partners.

- Manage shipments under FOB, CIF, DAP, DDP, and other applicable Incoterms.

- Monitor shipment documentation, customs milestones, delays, and exceptions.

- Maintain accurate and auditable compliance and shipment records.

- Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Buyer Operations, and Management teams.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on EXIM / international logistics experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, Commerce, International Business, or a related field.





- Strong knowledge of Indian export documentation and procedures.

- Working knowledge of DGFT, Customs/ICEGATE, APEDA, and export regulations.

- Strong understanding of HS/ITC-HS codes and Incoterms 2020.

- Practical experience in sea/air freight and freight forwarding.

- Proven experience managing international shipments end-to-end.

- Strong English communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to independently research and interpret destination-country requirements.

- Robust attention to compliance and documentation accuracy.

Preferred Experience

Experience in food/agri exports, processed foods, perishables, frozen/chilled cargo, APEDA products, GCC/EU/Japan/USA exports, cold-chain, packhouse, testing, treatment, or certification coordination will be an advantage.

This is not a domestic logistics or documentation-only role

. Candidates must have practical international export operations and compliance experience and be capable of independently handling complex export cases.
