Job Summary

You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, month-end reporting and supporting the set-up of business processes and control.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a finance business partner to category/business teams, providing financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions

- Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned business units

- Track and analyze key business and financial metrics (revenue, margins, unit economics, etc.)

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams

- Develop and implement solid financial controls and processes for improved financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.

- Prepare and present monthly financial updates to key stakeholders, providing insights on financial performance and trends.

Requirements

- Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) from a tier 1 MBA college.

- 3-4 years of experience in business finance,



FPA, or commercial finance - ideally in a consumer internet, marketplace, services, or high-growth D2C/e-commerce business

- Strong PL ownership mindset - you should be as comfortable owning the moving pieces of a PL as reporting on them

- Strong business acumen to understand the business requirements

- High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; ability to build clean, formula-driven models without relying on manual overrides

- Ability to work directly with business leaders - translating financial analysis into decisions, not just reporting numbers
