Job Profile/Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture &

- Technical Leadership

- Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications.

- Design high-performance, scalable, secure, resilient, and cloud-native solutions on AWS, as well as modernize and optimize monolithic applications.

- Establish architecture standards, design principles, best practices, and governance processes across the SDLC.

- Create and maintain architecture artifacts, including HLDs, LLDs, sequence diagrams, deployment diagrams, integration designs, and technical roadmaps.

- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards and obtain architecture approvals.

- Evaluate and recommend architecture patterns, frameworks, tools, and technology stacks aligned with business and technical objectives.

- Mentor engineering teams, technical leads, and developers, fostering engineering excellence and architectural best practices.

- Participate in strategic technology planning, modernization initiatives, and transformation programs.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and clients to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Present architectural solutions, conduct technical workshops, and lead architecture review sessions.

- Define and enforce security architecture standards, secure design principles, and compliance requirements across applications and platforms.

- Conduct architecture and security reviews to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.

- Ensure solutions adhere to security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, auditability, and data protection.

- Collaborate with Enterprise Security and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Application &

- Cloud Architecture





- Lead solution design and implementation using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.

- Define reusable frameworks, components, design patterns, and engineering standards.

- Drive application modernization initiatives, including migration from monolithic architectures to microservices and cloud-native platforms.

- Design and implement AWS-based solutions leveraging services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.

- Architect containerized solutions using Docker, ECS/EKS, and Kubernetes.

- Define cloud migration strategies, disaster recovery plans, capacity management, cost optimization approaches, and operational excellence practices.

- Design secure-by-default applications and cloud platforms leveraging AWS security services and best practices.

- Architect identity and access management solutions using IAM roles, policies, federated authentication, and least-privilege access principles.

- Define security controls for APIs, microservices, containers, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

- Implement encryption strategies for data at rest and in transit using AWS KMS, Secrets Manager, TLS, and related security services.

- Ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery requirements.

- Guide teams on secure coding practices and remediation of security vulnerabilities identified through scans, audits, and penetration testing.





Performance Engineering &

- Operational Excellence

- Provide subject matter expertise in performance engineering, monitoring, tuning, diagnostics, and capacity planning.

- Analyze and resolve complex performance and scalability challenges, including multi-threading and concurrent processing issues.

- Utilize performance monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Dynatrace, JProfiler, VisualVM, Glowroot, and similar APM solutions.

- Evaluate emerging performance engineering methodologies, monitoring tools, and technologies, and promote best practices across teams.

Delivery &

- Stakeholder Management

- Drive software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, and delivery.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced Agile environment.

- Support project planning, estimation, risk management, and technical decision-making.

- Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
