- Confirmation of the Plant Equipment to be maintained.

- Define the structure of the Dept

- Address the requirement of the skilled and unskilled resources required.

- Define the SOPs applicable.

- Understanding of the processes of the Department.

- Implementation the QMS as planned by the Top Management.

- Preparation of the Budget required.

- Find out the Potential Risk factors within his dept.

- Define the targets at different levels within the dept for the KPI provided.

- Daily-management/trend monitoring/data analysis.

- CAPA vis-s-a-vis customer complaints internal and external.

- Costs monitoring and reduction practices.

- Increasing productivity and efficiency of all resources/reduce wastages.





- Update,upkeep and implementation of statutory and QMS documents .

- Regular reporting to concern HODs .

- Conducting regular departmental meetings and encouraging initiatives .

- Facilitating quality improvement forums.

- Safety systems,implementation and improvements.

- Identifying training needs of departmental employees and ensuring effectiveness.

- Allocating duties/responsibilities to departmental personnel.

- Knowledge of tools and equipment used on the shop floor

- Knowledge of line operation.

- Understanding of QMS (Quality Management System) requirements and practices
