Job Purpose The Maintenance Head will lead maintenance operations for PT Ecological, ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient functioning of all plant equipment, utilities, infrastructure, and facilities. The role is responsible for minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, controlling maintenance costs, and maintaining statutory and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs.
Ensure uninterrupted operation of production machinery, utilities, electrical systems, and plant infrastructure.
Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, operators, and external service providers.
Plan and manage maintenance shutdowns, annual maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs.
Drive root-cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, checklists, SOPs, and statutory documentation.
Ensure availability and effective inventory control of critical spares, tools, lubricants, and consumables.
Prepare and manage the maintenance budget; identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
Coordinate closely with Production, EHS, Quality, Procurement, and Administration teams.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, fire, electrical, and labour regulations.
Monitor utilities including power supply, DG sets, compressors, pumps, water systems, HVAC, and fire-fighting equipment, as relevant to site operations.
Identify and lead initiatives for equipment reliability, energy conservation, automation, and process improvement.
Assess team performance, provide technical training, and promote a safety-first maintenance culture.
Manage AMC contracts, vendor performance,
quotations, and technical procurement requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering.
Certification in maintenance management, reliability, safety, or energy management is preferred.
Experience
8–15 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, processing, waste-management, recycling, utilities, or similar operational environment.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading a maintenance team.
Required Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility-maintenance systems.
Hands-on expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Working knowledge of CMMS/ERP systems, maintenance planning, and reporting.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement lasting solutions.
Strong people leadership, planning, negotiation, and vendor-management skills.
Knowledge of EHS practices and statutory compliance.
Positive communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Maintenance cost against approved budget
Critical-spares availability
Safety incidents and compliance status
Energy and utility consumption improvements
Closure rate for corrective and preventive actions
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
