- Lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.

- Ensure maximum uptime and availability of production and packaging equipment.

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs.

- Handle maintenance of process equipment, filling/packing machines, pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, boilers, chillers and other utilities.

- Monitor breakdowns, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Maintain MTBF, MTTR, downtime and maintenance cost reports.

- Plan and maintain adequate inventory of critical spare parts.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Projects and other departments for smooth plant operations.

- Manage external contractors and service providers for maintenance activities.





- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards and statutory requirements.

- Lead installation, commissioning and modification of recent machinery and equipment.

- Drive energy-saving initiatives and reduce maintenance and utility costs.

- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history and documentation.

- Lead and develop the maintenance team and ensure proper allocation of manpower.

- Ensure adherence to safety procedures during maintenance and breakdown activities.Role & responsibilities
