Your work will involve core banking processes like accounts, transactions, and payment systems. You must write clean code using COBOL and run jobs using JCL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and debug COBOL programs for banking applications.
- Create and update JCL (Job Control Language) scripts for batch processing.
- Work with DB2 and VSAM databases to store and retrieve financial data.
- Use CICS for online banking transaction systems.
- Analyze business needs from banking stakeholders.
- Fix production bugs and improve batch job performance.
- Follow strict bank security and compliance rules.
- Write technical documents and test plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4 to 8 years of professional Mainframe development experience.
