About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Magento Developer to join our development team in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

This is a full-time, on-site position for a developer with 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in Magento development, preferably with robust hands-on experience in Magento 2.

The Magento Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing Magento-based e-commerce websites while ensuring high performance, scalability, security, and a smooth user experience.

Experience Required: 4–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 e-commerce websites.
- Build and customize Magento modules, extensions, themes, and backend functionality.
- Develop and implement responsive front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and other e-commerce services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Magento bugs, technical issues,



and production-level problems.
- Optimize Magento websites for speed, scalability, database performance, and overall user experience.
- Work with Magento caching, indexing, cron jobs, and performance optimization.
- Perform code reviews and ensure clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.
- Manage development, staging, and production environments and follow proper deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, marketers, content teams, and other developers.
- Participate in technical planning and implementation of new website features and functionality.
- Follow Magento coding standards, security best practices, testing procedures, and version control workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4–5 years of professional Magento development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Magento 2 development and customization.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with Magento configuration, custom module development, extensions, and database management.
- Good understanding of Magento architecture, dependency injection, plugins, observers/events, repositories, EAV, and collections.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS,



JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and database optimization.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, third-party services, payment gateways, and shipping solutions.
- Experience with Git/version control and development, staging, and production deployment workflows.
- Experience with Magento performance optimization, caching, indexing, and site-speed improvements.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues independently.
- Understanding of web application security and Magento security best practices.
- Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

- Experience with SEO best practices for Magento/e-commerce websites.
- Experience with server environments, CDN, caching solutions, and Magento performance tuning.
- Familiarity with modern Magento deployment and development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Important

This is an on-site role based in Jaipur. Candidates should be currently based in Jaipur or willing to relocate to Jaipur and work full-time from our office.
