About the Role

We are looking for a Magento Backend Developer with 35 years of experience to build and maintain APIs, integrations, and custom Magento 2 modules. The role involves working closely with frontend, architecture, and integration teams to deliver secure and scalable eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop custom REST and GraphQL APIs for headless frontends (React/Node).
- Integrate Magento with ERP, logistics, payment gateways, and loyalty systems.
- Lead Magento 2.x version upgrades.
- Design and implement reusable, secure, and efficient Magento modules and services.
- Define scalable and reusable backend architecture for multi-project Magento implementations.
- Set development standards, conduct code reviews,



and define integration strategies.
- Evaluate third-party modules, API security, caching mechanisms, and queue systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues across projects.
- Lead and mentor developers across modules including APIs, upgrades, and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience in Magento 2 backend development.
- Expertise in REST/GraphQL API architecture, request handling, and authentication.
- Experience with system integrations using token-based authentication, OAuth, and custom connectors.
- Solid knowledge of deployment practices, Composer, patching, and version control.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing backend development efforts.
