Description: Summary: The main function of an Software Engineer with experience in AI / Machine Learning skills is to be responsible for creating, deploying, and maintaining AI and machine learning models.

Job Responsibilities

Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications Implement system software and customize to client requirements Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans Code new programs to clients specifications and create test data for testing Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation Provide quality assurance reviews Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 5-7 years' experience required A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design Large systems software design and development experience Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution.Experience working in an Agile setting.Background in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Additional Required Skills

- Solid experience in Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and Applied AI for business and operational decision support.
- Hands-on experience developing time-series forecasting models, predictive models, and statistical learning solutions using historical data.




- Experience designing and implementing anomaly detection solutions using supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, or equivalent.
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning (AML) for model development, training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing, feature engineering, and model training.
- Experience with data exploration, feature engineering, feature selection, model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and performance optimization.
- Experience implementing MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, model monitoring, model retraining, and model lifecycle governance.
- Experience integrating machine learning models into enterprise applications, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience working with large historical datasets, sensor data, and time-series data in production environments.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML solution architecture, scalability, reliability, security, and operational support requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead technical workstreams while collaborating with architects, data engineers, business stakeholders, and product teams.

Good to have skills
- Experience working with PI Historian and industrial operational data sources.
- Experience within refining, manufacturing, industrial process, energy, utilities, or wastewater processing environments.
- Understanding of prescriptive analytics, optimization techniques, and recommendation systems.
- Experience with Operational Technology (OT) data, process telemetry, and industrial analytics platforms.
- Experience implementing production-grade AI/ML solutions on Azure cloud platforms.
