Looker BI Developer Look ML Role & responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Looker.

- Design and build LookML models, views, explores, and dashboards based on business requirements.

- Create and manage data models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.

- Develop reusable metrics, dimensions, and measures within LookML.

- Ensure data quality, validation, and governance across BI solutions.

- Integrate Looker with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL, etc.

- Monitor dashboard performance and implement optimization techniques.





- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues.

- Create scheduled reports, alerts, and automated data delivery solutions.

- Support users with ad hoc reporting and analytical requirements.

- Maintain documentation for data models, dashboards, and reporting processes.

- Follow BI best practices, security standards, and data access controls.
