The Location Manager is responsible for identifying, securing, coordinating, and managing locations required for a production or project. The role involves location scouting, negotiating permissions and agreements, coordinating with property owners and local authorities, managing logistics, and ensuring that locations are prepared, protected, and production-ready.
- Scout and identify suitable locations based on creative, technical, logistical, and budget requirements.
- Conduct location visits and prepare photographs, videos, maps, measurements, and detailed location reports.
- Coordinate with property owners, government authorities, local communities, police, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Negotiate location fees, usage terms, deposits, and other commercial requirements.
- Obtain necessary permissions, licenses, NOCs, and access approvals before production. Role Role & responsibilities
