Position Title - Legal Counsel

1. Key Responsibilities

Legal Support for the business development function:

- M&A; transactions- Co-ordinating for due diligence with various stakeholder including target and external counsels, review of the documentation, MIS along with legal counsel

- Provide legal advice to business teams on various operational and excise related matters, proactively implement the aligned risk mitigation actions in cross-collaboration with internal stakeholders.

- Dispute management- preparing responses to notices received from third-parties, statutory authorities, administrative proceedings etc., to avoid adverse impact on business continuity, or reputation;

- Champion anti-trust and IPR related matters; assist in conducting periodic trainings and sensitization programmes to employees.

- legal research on relevant laws, regulations,



and industry trends affecting the business; Maintenance of various MIS, global platforms and periodic updating and reporting.

1. Qualifications & Experience

2. LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized university;

3. 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed law firm and/ or in-house legal department.

4. Ability to work under limited supervision in an agile manner in regulated sector to achieve business goals.

5. problem solving acumen and communication skills;

6. Strong knowledge of contract law, competition law, intellectual property rights.

7. Positive drafting, research, and communication skills.
