About us

ComplyDP builds compliance infrastructure for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Our platform encodes the DPDP Act into formal logic, so companies get auditable answers about their data practices instead of guesswork. We are operated by Nihonium Labs Private Limited and backed by NVIDIA Inception, Google Cloud for Startups, T-Hub, and DST.

With DPDP Rules notified and enforcement approaching, every company in India is about to need to understand this law. Very few people actually do. That is the prospect we are hiring for.

What you will do

You will split your time between learning the law properly and explaining it to the market.

On the legal side:

- Read and work through the DPDP Act 2023 and the DPDP Rules in depth, section by section
- Research how specific obligations apply to real sectors: e-commerce, healthcare, SaaS, manufacturing
- Track regulatory updates, Data Protection Board developments, and comparable rulings under GDPR and other regimes
- Support the team on client-facing compliance documentation, notices, consent language, and internal legal research memos

On the content side:
- Script and appear in short-form videos explaining DPDP concepts for LinkedIn, Instagram,



and YouTube
- Turn dense legal provisions into explanations a founder or a marketing head can actually follow
- Work with the team on the shooting and editing loop, ideally getting comfortable running it end to end
- Help build a body of public explainer content that becomes the reference point for DPDP in India

Who we are looking for

- Law student (3rd year onwards, 3-year or 5-year programme) or recent graduate
- Genuine interest in technology, data protection, and privacy law. You do not need prior DPDP knowledge, but you need to want it
- Clear written and spoken English and Hindi
- Comfortable on camera, or willing to get comfortable quickly. This is a real part of the role, not an add-on
- Self-directed. We are a small team and you will not be micromanaged, which also means nobody will chase you
