As the HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic partner to the Dark Stores & Quick Commerce Operations Team, driving people initiatives that enable rapid business growth, workforce scalability, and operational excellence. This role requires balancing strategic HR planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

The Dark Stores & Quick Commerce team manages micro-fulfillment centers and last-mile operations to deliver ultra-rapid services. HR plays a pivotal role in building a high-performance culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting talent needs across distributed locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business leaders to understand manpower requirements and execute workforce planning.

- Drive end-to-end employee lifecycle management: onboarding, engagement, performance management, and exit processes.

- Support recruitment and talent acquisition strategies for frontline and managerial roles.

- Implement HR policies, ensure compliance, and maintain labor law adherence across multiple store locations.

- Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.

- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives tailored for store and delivery staff.

- Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to upskill employees and managers.

- Monitor HR metrics (attrition, absenteeism, productivity)



and recommend interventions.

Qualifications & Experience

- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.

- 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, logistics, or quick commerce.

- Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, and workforce management in distributed operations.

- Ability to manage high-volume hiring and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

- Data-driven mindset with experience in HR analytics and reporting.

- Flexibility to travel to store locations and adapt to dynamic business needs.
