About The Job:

- We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications.

- The ideal candidate should have experience building enterprise-grade backend services, microservices, and API-driven architectures while following best engineering practices.

Essential Job Functions:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.

- Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.

- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services.

- Implement secure, high-performing, fault-tolerant, and resilient backend systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and solution evaluations.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.

- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability and minimizing downtime.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering standards, coding guidelines, and best

Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with REST API development and API integration.

- Strong experience with AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB,



CloudWatch, and related services.

- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.

- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices.

- Strong understanding of Software Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and backend architecture.

- Experience with application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API development.

- Robust understanding of asynchronous programming, error handling, logging, and exception management.

- Experience designing applications for scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and reusable code.

- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated quality checks.

Positive to Have:

- Experience with Kotlin and JVM-based backend development.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as Kafka, SNS, and SQS.

- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, and application performance management tools.

- Experience with Serverless Application Development using AWS Lambda and related services.

- Knowledge of API gateways, service discovery, configuration management, and distributed caching.

- Experience implementing authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, or similar standards.





- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices.

- Experience with cloud security, IAM, networking, secrets management, and AWS governance best practices.

- Knowledge of automated testing, static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps practices.

- Experience in performance testing, capacity planning, and backend scalability optimization.
