About the Role

We are building Rubiscape 5.0, a next-generation Decision Intelligence Platform powered by modular studios and a strong metadata-driven architecture.

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer who will drive end-to-end development across backend and frontend, while taking ownership of technical design, engineering quality, and team execution.

This role is ideal for engineers who combine hands-on coding with architectural thinking and leadership.

What You Will Work On

You will lead development of core components of a studio-based platform, including:

Backend (Python / FastAPI)

- Design and build orchestration APIs that:
- Route requests to underlying execution services and platform components
- Integrate with metadata, governance, and platform services
- Define and enforce API contracts across teams
- Architect scalable, modular backend systems
- Implement metadata registration and asset mapping
- Ensure security, multi-tenancy, and performance
- Guide the team on async workflows and event-driven patterns

Frontend (React + TypeScript)

- Lead development of modular micro-frontend studio UIs
- Define frontend architecture and component standards
- Build reusable UI frameworks and shared components
- Ensure consistency across studios (design system + workbench model)
- Review and guide frontend implementations

Technical Leadership

- Own end-to-end design of features from spec to production
- Break down complex problems into executable tasks
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate closely with product and architecture teams

Spec-Driven Development

- Drive contract-first development approach

- Define
- API specifications (OpenAPI / JSON schema)
- Frontend-backend contracts
- Ensure strict alignment between specs and implementation

AI-Assisted Development (Claude Code / Cursor)

- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices

- Use AI tools to

- Accelerate development and scaffolding
- Improve code quality and refactoring




- Establish team guidelines for AI-assisted engineering
- Review and validate AI-generated code

Required Skills

Backend

- Strong experience in Python
- Deep hands-on experience with FastAPI (must-have) and/or Django
- Strong understanding of async programming and scalable API design
- Experience building production-grade backend systems

Frontend

- Strong experience in React + TypeScript and/or Angular
- Experience designing frontend architecture
- Strong understanding of component design and state management

System Design & Architecture

- Strong understanding of:
- API-driven architecture

- Microservices / modular systems

- Integration across distributed services
- Ability to design clean abstraction layers
- Experience building scalable platforms (not just applications)

Leadership & Ownership

- Experience leading engineering teams or modules
- Strong code review and mentoring skills
- Ability to drive execution in evolving environments

Development Approach

- Strong experience in spec-driven / contract-first development
- Experience using or willingness to adopt:
- Claude Code / Cursor / AI coding tools

Good to Have

- Experience working with distributed systems and platform architectures

- Understanding of
- Data workflows or processing systems
- Metadata-driven architectures

- Familiarity with
- Kubernetes / Docker / containerized deployments
- Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, Redis)
