We are looking for experienced and hands-on Lead Engineers / Senior Engineers to build and operate a scalable B2B API Platform and Developer Portal that enables secure integrations with partners, fintechs, and enterprise clients.

This role focuses on platform engineering, API ecosystem development, cloud-native architecture, and developer enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Platform Engineering

- Design and implement low-level platform components and backend services.
- Build and maintain scalable microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop and manage API proxies and policies in Apigee X.
- Implement secure API integrations using OAuth2, JWT, and enterprise IAM services.

Developer Portal & Integration Enablement
- Develop and enhance B2B Developer Portal and Sandbox features using Next.js and Node.js.
- Support partner onboarding, API product configuration, and access management.
- Implement policy-based authorization using OPA (Open Policy Agent).

Cloud & Platform Operations
- Deploy and manage services on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Work with PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL), Redis (Google Memory Store), and Google Pub/Sub.
- Implement service-to-service communication using Istio service mesh.
- Manage secrets and credentials using HashiCorp Vault.

DevOps & Platform Reliability
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Codefresh and GitHub Enterprise.
- Implement automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright,



and Artillery.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform services using:

- New Relic

- Dynatrace

- GCP Monitoring

- Splunk
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and operational improvements.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver platform capabilities.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, release management, and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Node.js

- TypeScript
- Next.js
- Experience building API platforms and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth2, JWT, and API security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with API gateways, preferably Apigee.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE) and cloud-native development on GCP.
- Familiarity with Istio service mesh and distributed systems architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Recent Relic, Dynatrace, and Splunk.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking, FinTech, or Payments domain.
- Exposure to B2B integrations, developer portals, and API ecosystems.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and stakeholder management skills.
