Job SummaryPosition Summary HCLTech is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant with 6-8 years of SAP implementation experience to support Greenfield, Brownfield and SAP S/4HANA transformation programs within the steel manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP FICO design, configuration and deployment activities.
- Gather business requirements and conduct fit-gap workshops.
- Configure GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Product Costing, COPA and Profit Center Accounting.
- Support steel industry processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, production costing and inventory valuation.
- Coordinate integration with MM, SD, PP, PM, QM and PS.
- Lead SIT, UAT, cutover and hypercare activities.
- Manage data migration, reconciliation and finance controls.
- Mentor junior consultants and support governance.

Required Skills





- Robust SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
- Expertise in Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.
- Knowledge of Material Ledger, Actual Costing and New GL.
- Experience with GST, statutory reporting and Indian taxation.
- Solid integration knowledge across SAP modules.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and testing documentation.

Steel Industry Knowledge

- Understanding of steel manufacturing business processes.
- Knowledge of raw material procurement, production planning, rolling mills, inventory valuation and product costing.
- Exposure to large-scale integrated steel plants preferred.

Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Commerce or related field. SAP S/4HANA Finance certification preferred.
