Responsibilities

- Review court opinions provided in HTML format.

- Identify and validate case-law citations, including full citations, short forms,

- Group multiple citations referring to the same legal authority.

- Identify relevant

Evidence Text showing how the court discusses or treats a cited case.

- Classify case treatment, direction, and severity based on project guidelines.

Qualifications

- LL.B./B.A. LL.B. or equivalent law degree from India.

- 2+ years of legal research, litigation, case-law review, or legal annotation experience preferred.

- Robust ability to read and interpret judicial opinions.

- Familiarity with U.S. case law and legal citations is strongly preferred.

- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured annotation guidelines.
