Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lane Incharge to supervise and manage the vehicle testing lane operations at our Automobile Fitness/Inspection Center. The candidate will be responsible for smooth vehicle movement through the lane, ensuring accurate testing, and maintaining safety and quality standards during the inspection process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day operations of the assigned testing lane
- Ensure smooth and safe movement of vehicles through the test lane
- Monitor testing equipment and ensure accurate readings during inspection
- Coordinate with technicians and testing staff for timely completion of vehicle testing
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard testing procedures
- Report any equipment malfunction or technical issues immediately
- Maintain proper documentation and records of vehicles tested in the lane
- Guide vehicle owners/drivers regarding testing process and requirements
- Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of the lane area
- Assist in resolving on-the-spot issues related to vehicle repair/maintenance during testing





Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Diploma in Motor Mechanics / Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical stream from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automobile repair and maintenance
- Hands-on knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
- Basic understanding of vehicle fitness/inspection norms
- Ability to supervise lane staff and manage shift-wise operations

Skills Required:

- Strong technical knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance
- Good supervisory and team coordination skills
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Basic computer knowledge for record-keeping
- Good communication skills
