About The Job:

- Client team is looking for DLP Security Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the Data Loss Prevention systems to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, exfiltration, or misuse.

- You will actively monitor DLP alerts and collaborate with stakeholders for data classification, policy tuning, and user education.

Essential Job Functions:

- Monitor, analyze, and triage DLP alerts generated by tools like Forcepoint.

- Investigate data movement incidents, escalate to L3 when necessary, and coordinate with business users for resolution.

- Support implementation of DLP policies aligned with business data sensitivity and RBI/SEBI data protection requirements.

- Assist in tuning DLP rules, fingerprinting sensitive documents, and configuring endpoint DLP agents.

- Provide end-user education and awareness on DLP policies and incident handling.

- Ensure all DLP events are logged, investigated, and closed within SLA timelines.

- Assist in content discovery scans, data flow mapping, and data leakage risk assessment.

- Participate in DLP-related project tasks such as onboarding current endpoints or integrating DLP with email security.

- Document recurring incident patterns and suggest proactive control improvements.

- Coordinate with L3 and compliance teams for monthly reporting and regulatory audit readiness.

Qualifications

- Experience:



4to 6 years

Skills

- Hands-on 5 to 7 years of experience with Forcepoint DLP or equivalent platforms.

- Knowledge of data classification, data at rest/in-motion security, and regulatory data types (e.g., PAN, Aadhaar).

- Good understanding of incident lifecycle and user behaviour analytics.

- Certifications

- Forcepoint Certified DLP Specialist (or OEM equivalent)

- CISA or CISM (optional but preferred)

- Data Privacy Foundation or CDPSE – preferred
