Job Summary The Kitchen Helper is responsible for assisting the kitchen team with basic food preparation, cleaning, maintaining hygiene, handling kitchen utensils and equipment, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist chefs and cooks with daily kitchen operations.

- Wash, peel, cut, chop, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients as instructed.

- Arrange and organize ingredients and kitchen items before food preparation.

- Assist in basic food preparation and cooking activities under supervision.

- Wash and clean plates, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.

- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, worktables, storage areas, and preparation areas.

- Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.

- Store food ingredients properly and maintain cleanliness of refrigerators and storage areas.

- Assist in receiving, unloading, and arranging kitchen supplies when required.

- Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain waste segregation.

- Ensure adequate availability of water, cleaning materials, containers, and other kitchen supplies.

- Support the kitchen team during busy restaurant service periods.

- Report damaged equipment, breakages, shortages,



or safety hazards to the supervisor.

- Follow all restaurant rules, procedures, and instructions given by the Chef or Supervisor.

- Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering kitchen is preferred.

- Freshers may also be considered.

- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

- Hardworking, punctual, disciplined, and willing to learn.

- Physically fit and able to stand and work for extended periods.

- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.

Personal Hygiene & Safety

- Maintain proper personal hygiene and wear the required uniform/PPE.

- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

- Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.

- Handle kitchen equipment safely.

- Immediately report accidents, injuries, hazards, or equipment problems to the supervisor.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
