- Maintain regular communication with the clients sourcing, merchandising, operations, finance and other relevant teams.
- Actively follow up for new orders, repeat orders and upcoming requirements.
- Present and push new collections, designs and categories relevant to the client.
- Understand upcoming launches, seasonal requirements and stock requirements in advance.
- Build a strong relationship with the client and identify opportunities to grow the account.
Order & Operations Management
- Take complete ownership of orders from receipt until final closure.
- Monitor order placement, production, QC/QA, hallmarking, packing, dispatch, ASN, GRN and accounting wherever applicable.
- Maintain daily inward/outward and product/order ageing.
- Ensure overdue or stuck orders are identified and escalated before they become a client issue.

Data, MIS & Systems
- Candidate must be strongly data-driven and comfortable working with Excel, ERP and MIS.
- Should be able to create and maintain daily, weekly and monthly dashboards/reports.
- Should analyse data and highlight exceptions rather than simply prepare reports.
- Should understand ageing, TAT, OTIF/on-time delivery, pending orders, category performance, client issues and other operational KPIs.
- Should actively look for opportunities to automate repetitive work and reporting.
- Should use systems, dashboards and technology to reduce manual follow-ups and make the team’s daily work easier and smoother.
- Preference for candidates comfortable with advanced Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI or similar reporting/automation tools.
Team Management
- Manage the team working under the respective corporate account.
- Allocate responsibilities and conduct daily reviews.
- Build systems so the team works through defined processes rather than constant manual follow-ups.
- Take responsibility for the team’s accuracy, productivity and timelines.
Candidate Profile Ideally, we should look for candidates with 3–7 years of experience in Key Account Management, Corporate Sales Operations, Business Operations, Customer Operations or similar roles.
Preference should be given to candidates who have previously worked with large corporates, organised jewellery retailers, manufacturing companies or B2B businesses.
Prior jewellery experience would be an advantage, but I would also consider a very strong KAM/operations candidate from another organised industry if they are data-driven, process-oriented and capable of learning our products quickly.
The person should have
- Strong communication and client-handling skills
- Excellent Excel/MIS capabilities
- ERP/system understanding
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Team-handling experience
- Process improvement/automation mindset
- Basic commercial and accounting understanding
- Ability to understand products and manufacturing timelines
- Robust follow-up and ownership
The objective is to eventually have a KAM who can independently run the complete account so that client communication, business development, orders, reporting, team management and operations all run smoothly under one owner.
