Looking for an experienced Key Account Manager - Modern Trade, who will be responsible for managing and growing key retail accounts and driving primary sales / sell-in business across Modern Trade.

The ideal candidate should have strong relationships with retail buyers and category teams, along with hands-on experience in account management, commercial negotiations, primary sales, business planning and account growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute Modern Trade merchandising and business strategies for key accounts.
- Drive primary sales / sell-in and achieve account-wise sales targets.
- Manage relationships with retail buyers, category managers and key stakeholders.
- Drive PO generation, primary billing and order fulfilment across accounts.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, margins, TOT and annual business agreements.
- Prepare and execute JBP/AOP/business plans for key accounts.
- Manage sales forecasting, inventory planning and stock availability.
- Analyse sales performance, identify slow movers,



top sellers and merchandise gaps, and take corrective actions.
- Plan and execute promotions, markdowns, price changes and clear-outs in coordination with accounts.
- Drive new product listings, NPI and current store rollouts.
- Coordinate with internal teams for supply planning, order fulfilment and inventory requirements.
- Monitor claims, collections, outstanding payments and account reconciliation.
- Track business performance and prepare regular sales reports and account reviews.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, new listings and expansion of business.
- Work closely with internal sales, supply chain, finance and marketing teams to ensure smooth account operations
