Junior Tester -Immediate Joiner

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Manual Tester with 1–2 years of experience in manual testing within the Banking/Financial Services domain. The candidate should have solid fundamentals in software testing and hands-on experience in functional, regression, integration, and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps.
- Perform end-to-end testing of banking applications and workflows.
- Validate APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Perform basic SQL/database validation.
- Participate in defect triage and collaborate with developers,



BAs, and business teams.
- Maintain test execution reports and testing documentation.
- Follow Agile/Scrum testing practices.

Banking Domain Exposure – Preferred Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Core Banking
- Payments
- Collections
- Liquidity Management
- VAM (Virtual Account Management)
- Client Onboarding
- Client Services / Salesforce
- Digital Channels

Required Skills
- 1–2 years of Manual Testing experience.
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
- Good knowledge of test case design and execution.
- Basic API testing knowledge.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Banking/Financial Services domain experience is mandatory/preferred.
