We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join an ANRF-sponsored research project in the Department of Civil Engineering at BITS Pilani .
The selected candidate will work on the cutting-edge research area of Suction–Stiffness–Microstructure Coupling in Unsaturated Soils , with opportunities to explore soil suction, unsaturated soil behaviour, soil stabilisation, dynamic testing, microstructural characterisation, and advanced geotechnical experimentation .
The position offers an opportunity to work in a energetic and collaborative research environment equipped with advanced experimental facilities, world-class infrastructure, SATHI-supported research facilities, and a vibrant community of research scholars and faculty mentors.
Qualification: M.E./M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering
GATE: Preferred, but not mandatory for an exceptional candidate
Fellowship: ₹37,000/month for the first two years and ₹42,000/month thereafter.
