About the Role

This is a hybrid merchandising and technical role. Unlike a typical merchandiser role (largely sourcing/vendor/timeline-focused), this position also requires hands-on involvement in pattern grading, pattern fixing, and fabric quality - best suited for someone genuinely interested in the technical side of garment-making, not just coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Merchandising

- Coordinate with factories/vendors to track production timelines
- Follow up on order status, sampling, and bulk production schedules
- Maintain production records and documentation

Technical

- Prepare and finalize size charts for new styles
- Handle grading across the size range in coordination with pattern masters
- Support in identifying and fixing pattern issues during sampling
- Check fabric quality on incoming stock and flag issues

Quality & Feedback Loop

- Assist in analyzing returns to identify recurring fit, fabric, or construction issues




- Feed learnings back into production to reduce repeat issues

Requirements
- Fresher or up to 2 years of experience; degree/diploma in fashion technology, merchandising, or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and sizing
- Willingness to learn grading and pattern-reading on the job
- Organized, detail-oriented, comfortable following up with vendors/factories
- Good communication skills (English/Hindi)
- Based in Delhi, available for occasional in-person factory/office visits

Positive to Have
- Exposure to size charts or grading during internship/coursework
- Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking data

Compensation
- 20-30K INR monthly [Since this is a fresher role, consider a structured hike after 3-6 months based on performance]
