Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with space planning for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Day-to-day tasks include drafting construction drawings, coordinating FF&E; selections, preparing presentations, and maintaining design documentation. The role involves collaborating with senior designers, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure design intent is accurately translated into delivered spaces.

The Junior Interior

Designer will also help track materials, finishes,



and product specifications through Arcedior’s sourcing platform. This is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Candidates should possess basic Architecture knowledge and the ability to interpret and contribute to Construction Drawings.
- Candidates should possess FF&E; skills, including selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with design concepts and project budgets.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Interest in global design trends, materials, and innovative interior solutions; prior internship or project experience in interior design is an advantage.
