- Administration and housekeeping of Microsoft SQL Server environments, including patching, backup, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Ensuring the availability of Microsoft SQL Server by proactive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Coordinating and executing SQL Server upgrades, updates, and migrations as required.
- Root cause analysis for SQL Server-related incidents and execution failures, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining documentation and operational procedures for SQL Server administration.
- Supporting SAP Basis administration tasks, including SAP system monitoring and troubleshooting
- Active monitoring of SAP system landscape and conducting error analysis (e.g. RFC queues, job errors, posting errors).
Ensuring day-to-day quality service delivery and achieving service KPIs and SLAs
Requirement:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering,
or Information Management.
- 3+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a primary focus on Microsoft SQL Server administration and SAP technology (BASIS).
- Robust hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration, including patching, housekeeping, backup, and performance tuning.
- Practical knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
- Experience with Azure is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of SAP technologies (e.g. SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP Basis) is desirable.
- Proven ability to manage operational tasks and collaborate with cross-cultural teams worldwide.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work in shifts with respect to 24/7 supervision.
