Senior Java Developer | Spring Boot | GCP

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The selected candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and promote software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate event-driven systems using Apache Kafka in a GCP environment.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure application responsiveness, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
- Use GCP services such as Pub/Sub, GKE, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable,



and testable code.
- Support containerized deployments and CI/CD processes using Docker and Kubernetes.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of qualified experience in Java and Spring Boot backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including services such as Pub/Sub and GKE.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and schema registry.
- Experience with asynchronous messaging using Kafka or Pub/Sub.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Angular or React.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Google Cloud Operations, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.
