Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Engineer to provide L3 application support, manage security vulnerabilities, implement application enhancements, and ensure the stability, performance, and compliance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, modern front-end frameworks, cloud technologies, and production support processes.

The role requires ownership of critical production incidents, security remediation, root cause analysis, and collaboration with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to maintain application reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities

L3 Production Support

- Provide L3 support for business-critical applications and resolve production incidents within agreed SLA commitments.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot application, API, integration, middleware, infrastructure, and database-related issues.
- Support Severity 1 and Severity 2 incidents, including war-room participation and on-call support when required.
- Analyze application logs, metrics, alerts, and monitoring dashboards to proactively identify issues.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, middleware, database, security, and vendor teams during incident resolution.

Vulnerability & Security Management

- Review, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities identified through application, dependency, infrastructure, and code-security scans.
- Address security findings aligned with OWASP Top 10 and enterprise secure-coding standards.
- Coordinate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure vulnerabilities are closed within defined remediation timelines.
- Perform impact assessment, code changes, regression testing, and deployment for third-party library upgrades and security patches.
- Maintain evidence and technical documentation required for security reviews and audits.
- Support periodic patching,



dependency upgrades, certificate renewals, and secure configuration reviews.

Development & Enhancements

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Build and support user interfaces using ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Implement production bug fixes, minor enhancements, technical-debt remediation, and performance improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding and architecture standards.

DevOps, Monitoring & Performance

- Support CI/CD pipelines, release activities, rollback planning, and deployment automation across environments.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes or equivalent container platforms for application deployment and support.
- Develop scripts and operational automation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Monitor application health using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, CloudWatch, or the ELK stack.
- Perform application and database performance analysis, tuning, and capacity-related troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in Java full-stack development and enterprise application support.
- Solid experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices.
- Front-end development experience with ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.




- Experience developing and supporting REST APIs and system integrations.
- Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or another cloud platform, plus Docker and Kubernetes.

Support & Security Experience

- Strong experience in L3 production support, incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with ticketing and work-management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Proven experience in vulnerability remediation, dependency upgrades, patching, and secure coding.
- Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and application security principles.
- Ability to interpret logs, thread dumps, heap dumps, performance metrics, and security scan findings.

- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with global onshore and offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in healthcare, financial services, or another regulated industry.
- AWS, Azure, Java, or security-related certification.
- Experience with SonarQube, Veracode, Checkmarx, Snyk, Tenable, Qualys, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
