We are looking for a motivated and skilled Java Developer to join our IT/Software Development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting Java-based applications. This role will provide an opportunity to work independently on application development as well as production support and future technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy application features and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
- Work with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely production support.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and application defects.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure application quality.
- Maintain technical documentation and application-related records.
- Support integration of applications with internal and external systems.
- Contribute to building Java development capabilities within the organization.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Solid knowledge of Core Java concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of REST APIs / Web Services.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
- Ability to understand existing applications and independently handle development and maintenance activities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in application development and production support.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA.
- Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, or frontend technologies will be an advantage.
- Experience working with cloud platforms or deployment tools will be an added advantage.
Education B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
