Fitter – Key Responsibilities

- Perform machine and equipment fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance.

- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and assembly diagrams.

- Carry out cutting, drilling, grinding, filing, tapping, and fitting of components.

- Assemble and align machines, shafts, bearings, gears, couplings, and other mechanical parts.

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery.

- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults and equipment abnormalities.

- Check machine alignment, dimensions, clearances, and proper functioning.

- Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.

- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.

- Replace worn or damaged mechanical components when required.

- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S/housekeeping standards.

- Maintain maintenance records and report major breakdowns or recurring issues.

- Ensure all fitting and maintenance work is completed according to quality standards and timelines.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
