About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Trainer to provide basic computer and digital skills training to candidates enrolled in skill development programs under DDU-GKY 2.0. The candidate will be responsible for delivering practical and classroom-based training and helping candidates develop the computer skills required for education, employment, and the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver classroom and practical sessions on basic computer and IT skills.
- Train candidates in computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet usage, and digital applications.
- Provide hands-on training in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Teach basic internet browsing, email, online forms, and digital communication.
- Train candidates on file and folder management, typing, printing, and basic computer operations.
- Explain basic hardware, software, and computer troubleshooting.
- Conduct practical exercises, assignments, quizzes, and assessments.
- Monitor candidate attendance, participation, and learning progress.
- Provide additional support to candidates who require improvement.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, practical exercises, and training materials.
- Maintain attendance records, assessment records, lesson plans, and other training documentation.
- Coordinate with the Center Manager, Soft Skills Trainer, Domain Trainer, and Placement Team.
- Support candidates in developing basic digital skills required for employment.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of computer lab systems and equipment.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the computer lab.
- Participate in inspections, assessments, audits, and monitoring visits when required.
- Deliver training according to the prescribed curriculum and project guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate/Diploma in Computer Applications, IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, PGDCA, DCA, or equivalent qualifications will be preferred.
- Freshers with good computer knowledge may also be considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT training, computer education, or skill development will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in DDU-GKY, Skill India, NSDC, PMKVY, or similar government skill-development projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to conduct practical computer lab sessions.
- Knowledge of Hindi and basic English is preferred.
