Role Description The IT and Bus Manager is a full-time on-site role based at Stepping Stones High School in Aurangabad. This role is responsible for overseeing the school’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and classroom technology, ensuring systems are secure, updated, and functioning effectively. The IT and Bus Manager also coordinates daily school transport operations, including bus routes, schedules, vehicle maintenance, and safety compliance, while maintaining explicit communication with families and staff.

Daily tasks include managing IT support requests, supervising vendor and service relationships, monitoring transportation staff performance, maintaining records,



and preparing reports for school leadership. The person in this role collaborates with academic and administrative teams to align technology and transport services with the school’s educational mission and operational standards.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, classroom technology, and basic cybersecurity.
- Experience in transport operations management, including route planning, scheduling, safety protocols, and coordination with drivers and support staff.
- Proficiency in using administrative and productivity software for documentation, reporting, data management, and communication.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities to handle multiple operational responsibilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with educators, support staff, students, and families in a school environment.
- Prior experience in educational institutions or similar settings is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of local regulations related to school transport, safety, and data privacy is an advantage.
