3. Azure: Azure IoT Operations, IoT Hub, Event Hubs, ADLS Gen2

Project Information / JD / Role Role: IoT Engineer The IoT / OT Integration Engineer will be responsible for enabling secure and reliable connectivity between manufacturing OT systems and the cloud data platform. The role will work closely with plant engineering, infrastructure, security, and data engineering teams to establish scalable ingestion patterns for industrial telemetry and operational data.

Mandatory Skills

Industrial protocols: OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, TCP/IP

DCS / Historian: Honeywell DCS, PHD Historian and similar industrial platforms

Azure:



Azure IoT Operations, IoT Hub, Event Hubs, ADLS Gen2

Edge gateway and industrial connectivity experience

Pub/Sub and event-driven architecture

OT networking, certificates, firewalls, and security

Understanding of industrial asset/tag hierarchies and UNS concepts

Familiarity with Databricks Structured Streaming / Delta Lake is beneficial, although Databricks engineering would primarily sit with the Data Engineering team.
