Hiring: IoT Platform Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 14+ Years

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable IoT and cloud-native solutions.

Build event-driven architectures using AWS services.

Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and containerized services using ECS/Fargate.

Develop secure and scalable REST APIs using API Gateway.

Work with real-time data ingestion, processing, and analytics.

Troubleshoot and optimize distributed systems and data pipelines.

Drive code quality, architecture, technical standards, and best practices.

Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, production support, and technical decision-making.

Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

> 14+ years of software engineering experience.

> 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience.

> 5+ years in technical leadership or lead developer roles.

> 3+ years of team mentoring or management experience.

2+ years of IoT, telemetry, or real-time data experience.





> Strong experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, and AWS SDK for Java v2.

> Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, IoT Core, DynamoDB, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, ECS/Fargate, OpenSearch, S3, Glue, Redshift, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.

> Strong knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL, REST APIs, Docker, Git, Maven, and CI/CD.

Experience with MQTT, UDP, binary protocols, device management, and telematics. Solid understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven, Serverless, CQRS, Stream Processing, ETL, Circuit Breaker, Retry, and DLQ patterns.

Experience with testing, monitoring, observability, security, and performance optimization.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Education

*Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science/Engineering.
