Job Summary

International News Express is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented and editorially aware Video Editor & Digital News Video Producer who can turn raw footage, field reports, interviews, podcasts and news material into professional video content. The candidate should understand digital news production, visual storytelling and platform-specific formats while maintaining the accuracy and original context of editorial content.

Key Responsibilities

- News Video Editing: Edit raw footage into clear and professionally structured news videos.




- Field Reports: Edit footage received from journalists and correspondents while preserving the context of the story.
- Interview Editing: Edit interviews without changing or misrepresenting the intended meaning of a guest's statements.
- Podcast Editing: Edit long-form video and audio podcasts, including multi-camera recordings and audio synchronization.
- Breaking News: Produce publication-ready video content within short deadlines for developing stories.
- Short-Form Videos: Create Reels, Shorts and other vertical videos for digital and social platforms.
- Motion Graphics: Prepare professional lower thirds, titles, name straps, transitions and supporting graphics.
- Audio & Subtitles: Manage dialogue clarity, audio levels, captions, subtitles and speaker identification.
- Quality Control: Review videos for visual quality, audio, spelling, synchronization, factual details and technical errors.
- Editorial Coordination: Work closely with journalists, anchors, podcast hosts, editors and production teams.

Skills & Requirements

- Robust professional video editing skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent professional editing software
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools is an advantage




- Understanding of motion graphics, titles and lower thirds
- Experience with audio editing and synchronization
- Ability to edit multi-camera interviews and podcasts
- Understanding of YouTube, Reels, Shorts and digital video formats
- Good visual judgement and attention to factual details
- Ability to manage urgent edits and changing news deadlines
- Strong file, footage and project management skills

Qualification & Experience A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Video Editing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Multimedia, Animation, Journalism or a related field is preferred.

Freshers with strong technical skills and an excellent editing portfolio may apply. Previous experience in news video editing, digital media, television, podcast production, YouTube production, social media video editing or post-production will be preferred.

Candidates should have a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work such as news videos, interviews, podcasts, field reports, YouTube videos or short-form content.
