About the Role

Buildhood is looking for an experienced and responsible Interior Execution Engineer / Site Supervisor to manage and supervise residential interior projects from the execution stage through final handover.

The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of interior execution, site coordination, materials, measurements, and workmanship. Design knowledge is required to understand drawings and ensure accurate implementation, but the primary responsibility will be site execution and project coordination, rather than design development.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day interior execution activities at project sites.
- Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, false-ceiling workers, fabricators, and other contractors.
- Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Read and understand interior layouts, furniture drawings, electrical drawings, and working drawings.
- Verify site measurements and coordinate corrections wherever required.
- Monitor the execution of modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, false ceilings, flooring, wall treatments, painting, lighting, and other interior works.
- Plan daily work activities and coordinate labour and material requirements.
- Check the quality, finishing, alignment, dimensions, and workmanship of executed works.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and proper utilization of resources.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, vendors, and clients during execution.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues and report major concerns to management.
- Prepare daily site progress reports, material requirements, and work updates.




- Monitor project timelines and ensure work is completed as scheduled.
- Check contractor measurements and support billing verification.
- Ensure site safety, cleanliness, and proper handling of materials.
- Conduct snag inspections and coordinate rectification works before handover.
- Ensure the completed project matches the approved design and client expectations.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in residential interior execution.
- Strong practical knowledge of interior materials, construction methods, and finishing works.
- Valuable understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, false ceilings, flooring, painting, electrical, and plumbing works.
- Ability to read and interpret interior design and working drawings.
- Strong site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of measurements, material estimation, and contractor coordination.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Bengaluru.
- Proficiency in English; Kannada or Telugu language skills will be an advantage.
- A valid driving licence and own two-wheeler are preferred.
