Interior Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Interior Designer who can own the complete design journey of a residential projectfrom understanding the customer's lifestyle and requirements to design conceptualisation, presentation, finalisation, documentation, and execution handover. The ideal candidate is creative, customer-centric, commercially aware, technically strong, and ownership- driven.

Key Responsibilities

Understand the customer's lifestyle, needs, preferences, budget, and expectations and translate them into meaningful design solutions.

Develop creative, functional, aesthetically strong, and commercially viable residential designs.

Prepare space plans, layouts, mood boards, 2D drawings, 3D visualisations, material selections, and detailed design documentation.

Present designs confidently to customers, understand feedback, and drive designs towards timely closure and approval.

Own the project design journey and ensure accuracy, quality, timelines, and scope adherence. Select appropriate materials, finishes, hardware, furniture, lighting, and accessories based ondesign intent, budget, availability, and execution feasibility.

Understand the commercial impact of design decisions and contribute towards project revenue and profitability.

Identify opportunities for relevant scope enhancements without compromising customer trust. Coordinate closely with Sales, DLM/DL, Project Management, Production, Execution, Procurement, and Vendors for seamless project delivery.

Ensure approved designs are accurately documented and handed over for production and execution.

Follow all HUB SOPs, processes, approval mechanisms, and documentation requirements without deviation.





Take ownership of design-related issues and proactively resolve them with the relevant stakeholders.

Ensure the final execution reflects the approved design, drawings, materials, and specifications.

Keep Customer Experience (CX) as the highest priority throughout the design journey. Continuously upgrade knowledge of design trends, materials, products, technology, and execution practices.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Relevant experience in residential interiors.

Strong portfolio of residential interior projects.

Proficiency in relevant design and visualisation tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3Dsoftware.

Strong presentation, communication, client-handling, and problem-solving skills.
