Interior Designer

At Elvenwood Interiors you'll follow a design from rst concept all the way to what actually gets built.

We handle residential interiors and retail t-outs in-house design, detailing and fabrication so you won't hand a drawing over and lose sight of it. You'll own the client relationship through design, lead a small team through delivery, and have a factory and an execution team you can walk over and talk to.

What you'll do

Design and drawings

Develop concept layouts, mood boards, and material and nish schemes for residential and commercial projects

Prepare 2D drawings oor plans, ceiling plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections and details

Prepare 3D models, renders and walkthroughs for client presentations

¢ Translate the brief into layouts, material palettes and nishes that t the space and the budget

Client handling

¢ Be the client's main point of contact through design meetings, calls and site visits

¢ Present concepts and options, explain the reasoning behind them, and hold the design position where it matters

¢ Record feedback accurately, close open points and take the design through to sign-o

¢ Set realistic expectations on scope, cost implications and timelines, and raise changes early

¢ Keep the client informed through execution so there are no surprises at handover

Commercial

¢ Prepare item-wise BOQs and support quotation work with accurate dimensions and specications

¢ Select materials, hardware and nishes within the approved budget and specication list

Execution support

¢ Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers and the production team through installation

¢ Attend site for measurement,



design-intent checks and snag lists

¢ Answer site queries and issue revised drawings when conditions change

Team handling

¢ Guide junior designers and draughtsmen on their work and check it before it goes out

¢ Distribute work across the team, track what's pending and keep deliverables on schedule

¢ Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers and the production team so design intent survives to site

¢ Bring the team up to speed on our component library, material specications and documentation standards

What we're looking for

¢ Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture

¢ Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp; a rendering tool (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion or similar) is an advantage, as is Infurnia or comparable modular software

¢ Familiarity with modular carpentry carcass construction, hardware, laminates, veneers, edge banding

¢ Condent with clients able to present a design, take criticism and still steer the outcome

¢ Comfortable directing a small team and reviewing others' work

¢ Organised: keeps track of open points, revisions and deadlines without being chased

¢ Willing to travel to sites within and around Bengaluru
