Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Mysore in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and internal teams to design residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards; selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures; and preparing detailed drawings and presentations. The role involves coordinating with vendors, contractors, and craftsmen to ensure design intent is accurately executed, as well as conducting site visits and supervising installation and styling.

The Interior





Designer will also prepare project documentation, maintain design standards, and contribute to sustainable and innovative design solutions that align with AJ Design Studio’s creative vision.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid interior design skills, including space planning, concept development, and material and finishes selection.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or similar software).
- Candidates should possess project coordination skills, including vendor management, site supervision, and schedule and budget awareness.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of sustainable design principles, current interior design trends, and local building practices.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in residential or commercial projects.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work on-site in Mysore on a full-time basis are essential.
