About the Role

Interior Architect with a minimum 3yrs of experience in large-scale projects such as malls, hospitals, commercial developments, airport terminals, transportation hubs, institutional buildings or other large infrastructure projects. The role will primarily focus on interior finishes, materials, architectural detailing, BOQ development and multidisciplinary coordination for large scale projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of interior materials and finishes, an understanding of finishes for large-scale public spaces, and the ability to review and coordinate design information from the client.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain finishes and materials matrices for large-scale projects.
- Review and identify finish requirements across various public and back-of-house areas, including floors, walls, ceilings, doors, joinery, partitions and other architectural elements.
- Evaluate finish requirements based on the function, usage, durability, aesthetics, maintenance and operational requirements of different spaces.
- Develop appropriate material and finish specifications in coordination with the design team.
- Demonstrate valuable knowledge of flooring, wall finishes, ceiling systems, laminates, veneers, stones, tiles, metal finishes, glass, solid surfaces, acoustic finishes, paints,



wall protection systems and other interior materials.
- Prepare and review BOQs, specifications and finish schedules.
- Assist in evaluating material and finish options from a cost, quality and constructability perspective.
- Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications and details for compliance with the project requirements.
- Review consultant submissions and provide consolidated comments.
- Identify design gaps, coordination issues, inconsistencies and constructability concerns.
- Coordinate design changes and ensure that finishes and material selections are appropriately reflected in the drawings and documentation.
- Prepare architectural/interior drawings and details as and when required.
- Coordinate with the Principal Design Consultant / Architect, Interior Designer and other specialist consultants like structural, MEP, lighting, signage, fire/life safety, acoustics, AV/IT and other disciplines wherever they interface with interior finishes.
- Participate in design coordination, technical review and progress meetings.
- Coordinate with material suppliers, manufacturers and specialist vendors to understand product capabilities, specifications and installation requirements.
- Evaluate proposed alternative materials / equivalent products against project requirements.
- Review technical data sheets, samples, test certificates and other material documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or relevant field
- 3–4 years of relevant skilled experience, preferably in large-scale projects.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
- Working Knowledge of Revit / BIM will be an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel for schedules, matrices and BOQs.
- Experience working on the client side, PMC or in a design management role will be preferred.
