Key Responsibilities1. Machine Setup & Mould/Tooling

- Install, align, mount, and remove injection moulds safely and accurately.
- Set and configure machine parameters including temperature, injection pressure, speed, clamping pressure, holding pressure, cooling time, and cycle time.
- Perform mould changeovers and ensure proper machine and mould alignment.
- Verify machine and mould readiness before starting production.

1. Injection Moulding Process Control

- Independently operate injection moulding machines and monitor production parameters.
- Establish and maintain stable and repeatable production cycles.
- Optimize process parameters to improve productivity, part quality, and cycle time.
- Minimize material wastage, rejection, and production downtime.
- Maintain proper processing conditions according to material and mould requirements.

1. Advanced Troubleshooting

- Identify and resolve injection moulding defects such as:
- Flash
- Short Shot
- Sink Marks
- Warpage
- Splay
- Burn Marks
- Weld Lines
- Flow Marks
- Dimensional Variation
- Analyze machine parameters, mould conditions, material properties, and process variations to identify root causes.
- Take corrective actions and ensure defects do not repeat.

1. Quality Control

- Conduct first-piece / first-article inspection after machine and mould setup.
- Check product dimensions and visual quality using appropriate measuring instruments.




- Ensure products meet approved specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain process sheets, production records, inspection reports, and parameter records.
- Coordinate with the Quality Team for any quality-related issues.

1. Material & Polymer Knowledge

- Have strong knowledge of different plastic materials/resins and their processing requirements.
- Understand resin drying, material handling, moisture control, and temperature requirements.
- Ensure correct material selection and processing conditions as per product requirements.
- Monitor material consumption and reduce unnecessary wastage.

1. Machine & Mould Maintenance

- Perform routine preventive checks of injection moulding machines and moulds.
- Identify abnormal machine/mould conditions and report or resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic operational condition of machines, moulds, and work areas.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for major mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or mould-related issues.

1. Production Ownership

- Take complete responsibility for smooth and continuous production operations.
- Monitor machine performance, output, cycle time, rejection, and downtime.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining required quality.




- Work independently and take quick decisions during production/process-related issues.

Candidate Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Injection Moulding / Plastics Manufacturing.
- Solid experience in machine setup, mould setting, parameter setting, and process optimization.
- Deep understanding of plastic materials, polymer behaviour, and resin drying requirements.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and/or electric injection moulding machines.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to independently manage injection moulding operations.
- Good understanding of quality inspection and production documentation.
- Strong focus on safety, productivity, and minimizing rejection/scrap.

Preferred Skills
- Scientific Moulding / Decoupled Moulding knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of injection pressure, speed, temperature, holding pressure, cooling, and cycle-time optimization.
- Experience handling precision moulds and technical plastic components.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
