Role Description The Information Technology Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mansa. The intern will assist in maintaining and monitoring local networks, hardware, and software systems used in manufacturing and office operations. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users with IT requests, and helping ensure network security and data integrity.

The role also involves documenting IT processes, installing and updating systems under supervision,



and coordinating with senior IT staff to improve infrastructure reliability. The intern will gain hands-on experience in an industrial environment, contributing to the smooth functioning of SRV Electricals’ technology landscape.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Information Technology concepts and basic IT support practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Security to assist with monitoring, configuration, and protection of systems.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to support internal users, communicate clearly, and provide timely assistance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux), basic networking concepts, and common office productivity tools.
