Detailed JD:

- Analyze and monitor Security events and alerts from different sources.
- Perform real-time incident handling (from intrusion detection to remediation).
- Understanding of MITRE Telecommunication&CK;, with demonstrated experience in case detections and TTP's.
- Experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC), Managed Security Service (Client).
- Experience with SIEM tools like Sentinel, RSA and LogRhythm.
- Ability to identify common false positives and make suggestions on tuning.
- Familiarity with web/browser-based exploits and Advance Persistent Threats and targeted malware.
- Experience with attacks like: Web Based Attacks, OWASP Top 10, Network based attacks like DOS/DDOS, Network/System based attacks.
- Knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security protocols.
- Fundamental Knowledge of Security Concepts like (lateral movement, privilege escalation, persistence methods, command and control, exfiltration etc.
- Understanding of Root Causes of Malware and proactive mitigation.




- Basic understanding of vulnerability assessments and vulnerability scoring systems such as CVSS.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM and vulnerability management tools.
- Investigate and respond to threats by analyzing logs, network traffic, and endpoint data.
- Perform regular threat hunting and contribute to incident response and remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture and reduce risk.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, investigations, and security controls.
- Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC operations.
