Job Title: Splunk Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Splunk Administrator who will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of Splunk environments. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Splunk Enterprise architecture, data onboarding, dashboard development, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Splunk Enterprise environments.
- Manage Splunk Indexers, Search Heads, Deployment Servers, and Forwarders.
- Monitor system performance and ensure platform availability and reliability.
- Onboard and validate data sources from various applications, servers, and network devices.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, alerts, and saved searches.
- Perform capacity planning, system upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and manage role-based access controls and security settings.
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to support monitoring requirements.




- Analyze Splunk logs and resolve incidents related to data ingestion and search performance.
- Implement best practices for Splunk administration, data retention, and indexing strategies.

Required Skills:

- 6-8 years of IT experience with strong hands-on experience in Splunk Administration.
- Expertise in Splunk Enterprise, Universal Forwarders, Indexers, and Search Heads.
- Experience with Splunk clustering (Indexer Cluster/Search Head Cluster).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience in log management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of scripting using Python, Shell Script, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of ITSM processes and incident/problem management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) knowledge.
- Splunk ITSI experience.
- Splunk Certified Administrator/Architect certification.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
